The client is to ensure that the correct address and box number is CLEARLY marked on all Packages so as to avoid any delay in delivery. |

NOTE: |
C.O.D Shipments to your Caribbean Express Box in Miami will NOT be accepted, however there will be a Caribbean Express employee on the premises to sign for receiving packages upon delivery. A signature is not required for Mail as it is NOT traceable. |

Restricted Shipments: |

Caribbean Express cannot accept and ship the following items: |

A. |
Hazardous or Flammable Material e.g. Aerosols, Fuels etc... |
B. |
Perishables. e.g. Seeds or Frozen items etc... |
C. |
Animals, Skins, Feathers or Honey. |
D. |
Firearms or Contraband of any sort. |
E. |
Cash. |
F. |
Pornographic Material. |
G. |
Illegal Substances. |

4. |
Weight and Package Restrictions: |
|
|

Rates are subject to change without notice. |

Freight charges are calculated according to the actual weight or the volumetric weight of the package, whichever is greater. Volumetric weight is calculated in inches as follows:
Length x Width x Height ÷ 166 = Pounds. |

Caribbean Express offers a repackaging service (at a small fee) for items that arrive in large boxes. Should you require this service, a request must be made before packages arrive at our Miami warehouse. Repackaging forms are available on our website. Compulsory "Re-Pack Fees" are automatically applied to Items such as Monitors, TVs etc...! |

5. |
Limitations of Liability: |
|
|
A. |
Caribbean Express will not be liable for any loss or damage to any mail or packages from suppliers or vendors before they arrive and are signed for at the mailing address. |
B. |
Caribbean Express’ Liability in the event of loss of packages is limited to a maximum of US$10.00 per lb for the package (regardless of the value). We recommend that insurance be taken out on valuable items ahead of time. |
C. |
Caribbean Express shall not be liable for consequential loss such as loss of income, interest or business investment opportunities as a result of lost, damaged, destroyed, delayed or undelivered packages or mail, or as a result of negligence of Caribbean Express. |

6. |
Prohibited Uses: |
|
|
A. |
The actual mailing address is the property of Caribbean Express Limited and is to be used solely for the purpose of receiving and forwarding of packages. |
B. |
Any request to store packages for any period of time at our Miami Address (Warehouse Facility) will incur a US$10.00 per day charge. |
C. |
The Address shall not be used for the purpose of registering companies within the U.S.A. |
D. |
The Shipping Address shall only be used for lawful purposes. |

7. |
Dutiable Shipments: |
|
|
A. |
Caribbean Express will pay on your behalf, all charges incurred in clearing your Goods, i.e. Duty, VAT and OPT and will bill you the next day along with your other Freight and Handling charges. |
B. |
All deliveries are on a Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.) basis. Our office will make every effort to contact you prior to delivery. |

Delay in deliveries and rent charges may occur depending on the following:- |
|
|
(I) |
Lack of or improper documentation. A commercial or proforma invoices must accompany all shipments, whatever the value. No 'Evidence of Value' (EOV) would result in a package being bonded for release by Customs Broker for release, and/or uplifted by Customs & Excise (Customs) directly at point of 'Clearance'. |
(II) |
Packages valued at over $3,000.USD (inclusive of freight charge) will need to be cleared by the client as a Trade Entry. Special documentation will be prepared by Caribbean Express. In order for the client to collect these documents, the relevant freight and handling charges must first be paid to Caribbean Express Limited. We can also arrange for a Broker to clear packages over $3,000.USD on your behalf. |
(III) |
The client is responsible for obtaining any special approvals, permits, licenses and/or exemptions that may be required for packages. e.g. Food and Drug or Plant Quarantine; COP or TATT Permits or Approvals, Stamps etc... Caribbean Express will inform you immediately if any of the above are necessary, as Swissport Trinidad & Tobago Ltd will charge a 'Rent' and/or 'Storage' Fees on packages left in their Courier Bond with immediate or same day effect. |

8. |
Junk Mail: *Not Applicable! |
|
|
US Postal addresses receive a lot of promotional mail, better known as “junk mail” e.g. coupon books, flyers, etc. Caribbean Express will deliver all mail addressed to our customers. Caribbean Express will not be held responsible for any charges incurred on this type of mail such as: freight, duty or VAT on printed matter. NB: *Our Mail Service is no longer applicable! |

9. |
Membership: |
|
|
A. |
Deliveries will be made to ONE (1) address only, i.e. the delivery address that appears on our Application Form or Customer Record. |
B. |
The 'Primary Account Holder' will be held liable for all charges incurred to their Box/Suite number account. |
C. |
Should you need to change your local delivery address, please contact our Customer Service at (868) 299-0727 immediately. A change of address form is available on our website. |
D. |
Your Box/Account would temporarily be disabled for any outstanding/unpaid charges (Invoices). It will be enabled/reactivated upon receipt of full payment of outstanding charges. |
E. |
Caribbean Express retains the right to terminate this Agreement, giving two week’s notice. |

|
NOTE: |
There will be no refund for Annual Subscription Fees. *Not Applicable! |
|
|
|
10. |
Storage of Packages in Miami & Trinidad: |
|
|
A storage fee of US$2.00 per day will be charged for packages left in the Miami or Trinidad office. There will be a two (2) day grace period after which 'Storage Fees' will be applied. |
|
|
A. |
Failure to advise Caribbean Express of Change of Delivery Address or contact information. |
B. |
The customer requests that the package be held. |
C. |
Packages with an incorrect box number or name that are left unclaimed upon arrival in Trinidad. |
|
|
|
NOTE: |
Packages left unclaimed for more than thirty (30) days from date received will be discarded to avoid further storage fees. |
|
|
|
11. |
Change of Address: |
|
|
On the rare occasion, should Caribbean Express relocate their office due to facilitate growth, delivery of packages etc..., the Company is not liable for any lost mail or packages after "Notice" has been given via flyer, e-mail or notice in the daily newspapers. |
|
|
